LinkedIn announced Terms of Service changes & tools to manage your privacy or security
Today the LinkedIN team announced via mail to all customers/users the new changes of the privacy policy. In the email, they let customers know about some changes to the Privacy Policy and User Agreement, effective March 26, 2014.
As part of the major policy upgrades the members of the LinkedIn family, LinkedIn Pulse and SlideShare will adopte the new Terms of Service. In a new blog post the team explains the changes with highlighted key points.
The mail also impact details about the new security tools. LinkedIn committed to provide users/customers new tools to manage the privacy and security. The settings can be customized by the user in the privacy settings and in the security settings are the following modules available:
- The two step verification
- SSL (https)
- Privacy > Sharing
Turn on/off activity broadcasts
Select who can see your activity feed
Select what people see when you've viewed their profile
Select who can see your connections
Change your profile photo and visibility
Block members for added privacy
